Personal data collected

On the Pairing mode, no personal data collected. All data you entered in the app are maintained on the device.

On the Cloud mode, the app collects the chats and messages of your WhatsApp account to provide WhatsApp features to you without iPhone. When you logged out from the app on Apple Watch, chats and messages will be deleted. Some data like debug logs in server, and media files (images, videos, documents, etc.) are stored on the server. Those data will be deleted after 30 days. In addition, chats and messages are not stored over 30 days even if you are logged in.

Information automatically collected

Some anonymous information like crash logs, error logs in device, and usage logs can be collected while you use the iOS app or watchOS app. However, they’re not linked to any personal data. All collected data do not contain any unique identifier. Those crash logs, error logs, and usage logs will be used for fixing bugs and improving the app.

We use TelemetryDeck to collect anonymized usage data. This helps us understand how our users are using our app and how we can improve it.
